Genelec has designed the 8020 with a very compact design, using its die-cast aluminium Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE™), making monitoring in smaller environments easier and better than before.
The 8020 has very smooth on and off axis response; while its curved reflex provides excellent bass response.
The 8020 features 4 inch bass driver along with a 3/4 inch tweeter which provides an amazing frequency response of 66 Hz to 20 kHz.
Input connections are done via a balanced XLR connector and a XLR male to linek other 8020a’s or for output to a subwoorfer (7050B subwoofer recommended).
Dual amplifiers provides 20w to both the LF and to the HF.
Volume control is easily located on the front of the monitor.
