The PB224 is designed to provide 48v of dc power to two condenser microphones via two 9 volt batteries or power supply.
The PB224 uses a 100kHz switching power supply to provide noiseless operation as well as pull down resistors which makes it possible to use any mixer.
Install two new 9 volt batteries to the PB224 (or power supply to any AC outlet) and the front LED will indicate when power is applied and connect your favorite condenser mics.
The PB224 does not provide any mic gain.
