The PB23 is designed to provide 48v of DC power to a condenser microphone.
The PB23 uses a 100kHz switching power supply to provide noiseless operation as well as pull down resistors which makes it possible to use any mixer.
Simply plug the PB23s power supply to any AC outlet and the front LED will indicate when power is applied and connect your favorite condenser microphone.
The PB23 does not provide any mic gain.
