About ProSound, Inc.

Started in 1978 by musicians for musicians. We started out repairing guitar amps and have evolved into Southern California’s leading retailer and service center for all aspects of live sound, MIDI, and home and professional recording studio needs. We are able to repair almost everything from the newest generation of computer digital recorders to older-than-dirt guitar amps. We have a large stock of replacement parts and an extensive technical library. Our service department has five full-time technicians so we may complete repairs in a timely fashion.

The sales side offers you five full-time experts, all of whom will give you the correct information about any equipment we sell. Since we are one of the few Southern California shops (and the only one in San Diego) that have both a sales and service department, we can offer you complimentary rush service and double manufacturers warranty on equipment purchased from our sales department. When customers want to know if we service what we sell, rest assured that, yes, we do, with just a few items that we cannot repair under warranty. We are a repair station for over one hundred manufacturers.
